To my baby Roxy,
You were my little rock, you were my strength, my bestfriend and my child! I hope you know that I loved you more than anything in this world. I am so sorry that this disease (AIHA) took you away from me at such a young age. You must know that I did everything I could to help you.
Thank you for giving me the best five years of your life. You will be in my heart forever.
Love Kathy, Your mama, and Grandma loves you too!

I will never forget the first time I met "Clarence", it was one of my first days on the job at Vale Park Animal Hospital. I rounded the corner and to my surprise was a very happy, BIG brown eyed boy, with the silkiest long ears I had ever seen. I was instantly in love. He howled and licked my hands, slobbered my black suit pants and made me absolutely delighted. Every time from that moment on, I asked the Receptionists to let me know when my boy arrived. I had a bowl of cool water and a handful of liver treats waiting. He was a very special boy and I am happy that he had such a loving mom & dad. I will miss you Clarence!
Love,
Jamie Irene, Practice Manager

RIP: Missy 1996 - 2010

Bow and Mistletoe (Missy) were adopted by the Braunlich family at Christmas 1996, from veterinarian Dr. Ken Keppy, of Abel-Keppy Animal Hospital and Clinic in Davenport, Iowa. They had been "caught" running wild on the streets by the Rock Island, Il. animal control officers. Bow was the "boss" and Missy "the runt". Bow became a "resident" of Vale Park Animal Clinic during his year long diabetes treatment (2006) and rode around on the shoulders of many of the staff! Both were loving and are so very missed after both had succumbed to diabetes.
